Can I replace the bearings in the two big black upper idler wheels without removing the skid?

I believe those wheels have non-replaceable bearings, as do most of the idlers in the mono suspension. But you can probably replace them without removing the skid. Just take all the tension out of the track and remove the idler wheel/shaft assembly by removing the 14mm bolt on either side.

Someone correct me if I am wrong on any of this.....

You can on the Attaks (LTX) easily without removing the rear susp.. They have a separate shaft with the upper idlers on. Not sure how they are mounted on the short tracks, if they are mounted directly on the rear skid? The wheels do have replaceable bearings. 6205's.
