Hi guys,
I need your help with my nytro xtx 2010. It have some problem to run at idle.
It stays at 1000-1050 rpm before getting up slowly to 1300.
When i hit throttle, it rev ok but after that it get down to 1000. It can also just stop.
Then i need to give some throttle to start again.
It is possible that the problem come from vacuum line leak? What is the best way to test it at home? Removing the fuel tank ? or air filter?
Any home made way to test for leak?

Is this unit a stock machine or does it have a turbo? Possible that your TPS setting is not set correctly and causing idle problems? Pull off all the vacuum hoses and check them over closely for any rub points.

He had this same post in the general nytro section. We narrowed it down to checking the vacuum lines for cracks and I mentioned that there could be TPS issues.
Was there any codes or lights on display?

no code. work like this the last 9000 km.
for example, i did a test warmup today. when hot, running on jack, full throttle then nothing. rpm drop to 8-900 rpm, then rise up to 1100 within a minute at idle. another similar test, wot then it stall.
after that stalling, need to give little bit of throttle to start.
tps?
sorry for my english. im à french Guy.

TPS= Throttle Position Sensor
Is your routine maintenance up to date?
-oil change
-is it fresh gas
-spark plugs changed
Did it stall while you had it at WOT or after you let off the throttle?

X2, fresh gas would be number one for me...

It won't be the fuel. He stated he has had this problem for the last 9000kms. Also it sounds like after going to wot and letting off the throttle it almost stalls or does stall when coming down to an idle. I would start by resetting the tps and checking it's voltages. I would think a vacuum leak would cause a high idle.
