So my venture won't start and I need some advice. I put my hand in front of my air intakes which worked a couple of weeks ago and she coughed, but wouldn't start. So I then put a few drops of fresh fuel in the plug holes and she fired and ran twice for about 2 seconds. What else could I do? The fuel was stabilized and I added 2 gals of fresh fuel before I started. Advice please...

And keep your thumb over the hose to hold the pressure while cranking it over.

thanks! ok... which one is vent hose? I see two clear hoses running at the top of the tank up and over.

thanks sled dog... worked like a charm.

side question about carb bowl drains... I backed all of them our this morning to drain old fuel and the bolts did not go all the way flush in. In other words I can still see 3 or so threads as they just stopped and I didnt know if it looked like that when I started. so question is should the drain bolt heads be flush with the bowl? if so I dont know why mine started to fight me after such a smooth insert.

Pull air box cover off, open throttle wide, add lil squirt of fuel in ea carb turn key, repeat as necessary till it stays running... Happens to me every fall... As far as drain screws just snug up its normal to see treads as they dont seal on threads but on the tip off the drain screw...

I'll tell you without a doubt I would be running it out of fuel for storage. then in prep for winter, pressurize tank to prime carbs. each time this happens you will find it runs worse and worse
