okay, i still have this vibration from idle to 40mph.

as soon as i touch the throttle it vibrates. it FEELS like a blown motor mount on a car, like when the rubber is torn and something is rubbing on the chassis.

ive changed all my wheels because they were shot.
but this vibration occurs instantly as you touch throttle and stop at 40mph+

is it some drivershaft or engaging bearing??

since you replaced the wheels you should also replace your lower bearing on clutch side..

they take a beaten especially if they are neglected..

i just did mine both upper and lower.. the lower one was getting pretty bad..

you can notice right away the difference with the new bearings installed the sled is very smooth..

it`s my third time doing the lower one..

as the bearing gets worn you start to feel roughness under your feet..

don't know if that's your problem but its good to check it..

than most likely it is the lower bearing, the worse they get the more vibration you will get on the floor boards..

i have used both dealer and the ones Royal sells, and have found no difference..

the cost on the lower bearing is not that much $20 so i change it every year just to be save..

is that the jackshaft bearing or the drivershaft bearing?

or maybe neither?

i did a search on "lower clutch bearing" but nothing came up?

drive shaft bearing

look under the royal cat on the net, go to page 121 you
will find it there part number 04-156-03-OR

how many K on the sled

Keep your jackshaft and driveshaft bearings lubed and they will last..... 9600 miles on Apex and no problem

x2 on the lube. If you lithium (wax) base grease it will stop the bearing from rusting when water gets in. Marine grease from CTC works well. 12,000 km and still on the original bearings.

no it does not vibrate when not moving.

i was advised to check the belt for flat spots and then if it not that to check the bearings.
