Theres no certain way this new spring gets put in ,correct... either end ..either way in the clutch?? just to make sure..before i put it back together...thxs
And whats the torqe for the center clutch bolt... i just removed center clutch bolt and the 6 bolts holding outside cover on and just took cover off to change spring..
The center bolt is a two step sequence if the clutch was removed from the shaft. the initial torque is 85 ft-lb then backed of and torqued to 44 ft-lb. I don't believe you pulled the clutch so torque it to the 44 ft-lb
The six cover bolts are torqued to 10 ft-lb. make sure you tighten them diagonally.
