2009 Nytro RTX
I am riding a Nytro RTX and am looking at a 2014 Viper L-TX. I'm am wanting a softer ride than the RTX and am wondering if the ride on the LTX will be much softer or the same. If anyone on the forum has some info on this it would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

The ltx deluxe rides amazing! Everything about that sled is nice, nice plush suspension, warm windshield, heated seat, tunnel bag. Can't go wrong with any of the vipers, the deluxe models to me just seem to have some extra perks.

I went from a 08 RTX to an 15 LTX SE and yes, love the sled, if it doesnt have the mid windshield just get it and the rear shocks, if they seem too stiff for you have Cannondale on here re-valve them for you.

X2

Once revalved the 15 LTX-LE is like riding a couch. Very plush and comfortable. If not revalved, expect a harsh stiff ride. Not sure if they changed valving 14 to 15, but 15's were way stiff (too slow on the rebound).

14 and 15 suspension is identical. Stiff and slow. The regular models that have spring shocks in front and smaller body rear are actually fairly plush but will bottom if aggressive or even road crossings at least on the ones I rode. So It depends on which version you get. But like said the revalving works amazingly well.
