Yes stock gearing.i think he said changed two gears(?) on turbo. Mbrp header and exhaust but I don't think it's doing anything. Had a clutch kit in before and had to take it out. Heard of this guy from my neighbour with turbo viper thought I would try it out. Really knows his yamaha clutching and on a farm to test it all out. Very impressed, you do not pay until your happy.

Sounds like you got your slipping clutches fixed now your running out of gear. CVT clutches become very inefficient when close to 1-1. Gearing change if u want more speed. Track lug on your machine is 1.25?

I'd be very interested in the setup, could you pm me with the guy's info too?I have a 15 Rtx-le blue/ orange. I had a guy who is very good at Yamaha clutching but not over experienced with viper. Gave him my sled for a few weeks to play with inhis free time. He ended up putting in I believe but don't quote on it yellow silver yellow spring, 47 degree helix and drilled out centre rivet on wieghts ( because I couldnt get past 8600rpm on 1 in powder mid range ). I hit 90 mph pretty easy on 1 in powder now and 106 on road. Not saying it's the cure for all machines but really brought mine to life. I think he shimmed out my 8dn belt to because it was a little sloppy. Best $ I ever spent and very cheap to do. That 106 was very hard and not realistic trail conditions. Drilling out middle rivet really fixed mid range bogging down without trying new weights.this speed is viper speedo not gps. My engagement is 3100rpm I believe. Very happy . Now performs closer to my two strock 800 Polaris . As close as I think I'm gonna get without turbo lol. Any one interested I can check spring for sure. Price was $200. He played with turbo (14 ltx I think) and changed gears on it. Turbo hit 120. Mine beat it out of hole till about 60 then it was no competition lol. He was very impressed with bottom end on this thing.I wish I new about him a year ago and 10 min from my house.
Thanks
