Do you have the MPI Turbo? I have not really noticed a lot of lag after 70, Mine pulls pretty hard at any speed!!I feel the same way about the top speed, it would be nice to eliminate that lag from 70 to 90.

Ok nice, with his clutching do you see the same top speed in loose snow/ slushy conditions? Mine was all over the place last year - got a new helix for the secondary so hoping that's all fixed up now but havnt had snow to test it, or the clutch machining .. Was really hoping someone did the machining with a turbo, I'd love to know if they can hit 100mph with it done consistently or close at least .
I love the low endive you guys and don't wanna sacrifice any of it, don't really need it minus the lake runs

I got no lag just dropped rpm after about 70-75mph to about 8400-8500 and it was gonzo from there in loose snow , tho that was the helix

With his clutching on both clutches it is an awesome setup, my sled was totally stock before the Turbo install so I didn't really notice a difference in loose snow, with that track and clutching it hooks up and goes!!! Allen said with the low gearing it tops out 96-98 mph. The motor and turbo has plenty of power, just ran out of gearing. This sled needs the Turbo IMO, with the track and low gearing it was only fun till 65 mph!!Ok nice, with his clutching do you see the same top speed in loose snow/ slushy conditions? Why not EVO turbo flash to 9750rpm and gain another 5 mph that way?

I might end up putting a turbo on mine, but figured I'd try to see what it does without first.

Ya I've been thinking about doing that, probably won't be this winter tho, I'm just not 100% sure if more boost and restarted timing is a great thing ..... I would love to see more rpm tho! I'm definitly thinking tho!!

Would you actually see a little more top speed tho ? Or is running out of gear running out of gear ?
If you can pull more rpm then you would see more top speed if everything is kept same.
