viper wind shields

I am going to do white skis and handguards. Ordered the real low yammi blue windshield. Might plastidip it black or white depending which of the 3 colours look best. Anyone ever try to plastidip skis?

Is this the mid height windshield for the xf 7000? I looked at the Cat site and don't see this windshield in black, where did you get this? This is a nice alternative.

Yes I would say it's a mid height. This is the windshield that came standard on my buddies xf7000 limited. Only the 7000 windshield will fit the viper.

If it is the stock ws then it is considered low. The 2nd pic shows a close-up of the mid-height...

The full view pic has the lower stock ws.

If you get a 7000 med windshield it will not fit without modifying either the shield or sled. I checked today. Problem is the lower wings on ac version no slots for the tabs on viper.

It is a low windshield and not much to them. Going to be a cold ride!

These pics the mid heights look slightly different with the mirrors version having more shield on the side. I wonder ....

Correct. Will NOT fit without mods. You could however mod both it and your sled to make it fit.
