Riding my 2014 zr 7000 sno pro and bent my bars. Has anyone ever changed bars on these sleds and if so what’s all involved particularly with the hot grips? Thanks

It would take more time than it is worth to mess with re-using the warmers. Order a set from RSI for Cat sleds. They work better, are higher quality and plug in.

Thank you had feeling they couldn’t be reused. Do you happen to know where the plug in located for the hot grips? Couldn’t see any connections unless there behind the control unit.

The connections are hidden in the control pod. Remove four torx screws to access them. I believe I used a T9 or T10.

Travis, add Barn Of parts may have a used to set with the grips already on. All you would have to do is mount the other stuff.

Just stand on a running board and grab the end of the handlebar with both hands and push it straight. They are incredibly easy to bend by hand.

I thought about bending it back but if it bent that easy the first time be worried about bending it again or having it snap. They didn’t even bend the first time from a crash. I hit a hard sharp drift at speed and the force from that alone is what bent it.

im going to swap out my handlebars my handlebars any tips or vids would be appreciated .

It was pretty straightforward the only thing was I only had socket style torx so needed one with some reach to take things apart. I put new heaters on the new bars but since then have switched bars and was able to use a heat gun and took the hot grips right off.
