I myself like really thin Mechanic's gloves many prefer the opposite the leather or heavily insulated gloves.
Just thought I would take a poll out of curiosity .
Post if you have a favorite pair or brand of gloves.

My favorite gloves are Klim Inversion model. They use wind stopper material and are thin but still keep your hands warm. My hands tend to get really hot the way I ride. I also like Fly 907 gloves for wet, warm, spring time type riding.

I chose thin gloves. But leather probably should have been a seperate option as many thinner gloves are leather also.

I like my Klim Togs when it is warmer and Klim Fusion when it is cold. I'm more of a fast trail rider which can cool hands down quick as opposed to boondocking where they stay warmer.

I wear Ice fishing gloves, they are water proof outside with leather palm. Stretchy nice snug fit, break wind and your hands stay dry in snowy conditions. I think a thin glove helps to pass the heat from the grips and actually keeps your hands warmer than heavier style gloves.

Most snowmobile gloves that are leather I have seen are rather hard to bend and you loose quite a bit of dexterity similar to other insulated gloves.
I have found that hunting gloves although not water proof are very thin but well insulated. Or the leather driving gloves / dress gloves at department stores.
In Michigan a cold day would be 0 degrees Fahrenheit .
I wear motor fist WOT. They are a mechanics style water proof glove. I think they are 150 on the backs of the hand and 40 on the palms, which is nice because I can actually real the warmers on my xtx.
One draw back is the space that sometimes develops between my jacket cuff and glove with my yami fxr jacket. I'm going to switch to a motor fist jacket that has the cuffs with the thumb hole in them. I think some/most Klim jackets have that too. That should take care of the problem.

I've used GKS deerskin gloves for 8-10 years .They are very soft and great for aggressive sledding. They come with 100 gram thinsulate liners and if the tempature is really cold I carry a pair of Michael Jackson gloves in my pocket. I like warm hands and the feel of the controls when I'm riding and these do the job very well !!!

my actual fave gloves are thick and thin at the same time. got them at moutain equipment coop. the palms and fingers are rubberized with a thin layer of insulation in the palms. the top is tripple layered insulation and helps keep the heat in.
