I know that you have already talked about it but I would like to know if you have some informations or pictures about what you have done to resolve the problem... I bought a Nytro RTX 2008 and I know that they have this problem....

Yamaha has a solution to this problem on the 09 lineup.
Take a look at the plate under the secondary clutch on a 09. There are pictures in some thread in here but i dont remember wich one.

Yes, that is what they claim. I took off my clutch side lower panel and used double sides sealing foam (1/4" I think) and sealed it from stem to stern and it made no difference.

Only solution I found was KLIM boots :o|

:die I am SO TIRED of hearing about these boots!!!!! Why would Yamaha fix this on the '09's with a plate when they could just give everybody a Klim coupon?!?!?!?! BECAUSE THERE IS AN ISSUE!!!!! :o| :exc:

Im sure your correct there are other brands that are waterproof and warm. I just bought them and have been very impressed. I didnt have them the first couple of rides and yes my foot got soaked, but to me I dont consider it a bad issue.
A worse issue to me is when its -10 and your going 90+ you literally freeze your balls off, but I wouldnt change anything about this sled or sport. Even if I freeze I would still be out there riding. Honestly im not trying to start an argument we are all friends and I would enjoy riding with anyone from this site anywhere. Think snow its coming :-o

Here are the options KLIM, Wellington boots and lots of thick socks or buy an 09 :jump:

You guys could try contacting Port Yamaha(he is a site sponsor), he may be able to get the plate or a part number. At the very least he should know when/if they'll be available.

Just waiting for the '09 parts fische to get added to the site!! ;)! Right now I have the bottom set of holes blocked off and it's been golden, but I'd rather put in the new plate so I can open those holes back up.
