I wonder if I will get one of those for my 40th.... I wonder if there will be a some kind of bulletin..... I too am waiting to hear....
I guess time will tell. I know that the dealers have not yet had the training for the updates but maybe some news will come soon.

Did you try my method. I blocked off the holed on the foot well, sealed the 3/8 hole on the bulkhead side and foam taped the lowers and I do not get a wet foot...

Klim Adrenaline GTX boots = no more wet foot on either side, and that includes riding in 4 feet of powder, + they're actually quite comfortable and warm.

............and then it blows south into Michigan!! It must be the first year ever, because I've never had a soaking wet foot before and I've ridden in rain!!! BUT, it only occurs on the left side, because that's the side that is usually facing Canada when I'm going down the trail!!! Truly historic weather we have here!! Maybe it's attributed to global warming!!!! Where is Al Gore when you need him??!?!?

When I did my tunnel work I had some footwell block off plates made. Mostly to reinforce and help stop snow/ice buildup inside the clutch and chaincase areas. It might with the wet foot thing. I have 2 extra sets I'll sell for $25 shipped ea. They are waterjet cut from .080 5052.
