13 mm swaybar is a great investment and low cost, easy install.

ok , everyone after much reading I'm gonna take her out on her maiden voyage , here's what I did softened the front end, put pilots 5.7 's on w/ 6inch carbites , pulled the limiter strap 1 hole and put a 9 inch piece of Hyfax over the rear tunnel protectors to safeguard against my studded track hitting the heat exchanger ...anything I'm missing ? once again I thank everyone so so much ....so much experienced information ... very thankful !!

you will love the machine. i agree ride it, i put 1000 miles on mine before making changes,i have the 2007 attak. this site helped me huge on set-up & i also agree that set-up was part of the fun.
3 things improvrd mine the most, snow trackers for steering issues, shock revalve & big boy spring. the revalve & spring took this thing from o.k in the ruff to excellent & predictable. although note... yamaha may have revalaved the shocks on stock machines since 07. watch the rear cooler if you install picks.
enjoy the ride.
