This afternoon my Apex GT just pass the 10,000 miles marks. I'm very happy about that and she still running strong.

Awsome... I only have 5677 miles to go... Or another 2 years.. LOL
It's not the rings I'm worry about, it's the exhaust (front pipe). The left side gave up at 6500 miles and the right side at 9500. But that I can live with.
I'm undecide to change it for a less mileage machine or just keep it for another year.

It's really too bad that these motors will outlast the chasis they were put into. This motor has a first schedueld tune up at 20,000 kilometers. I'm Canadian. Yamy should sell us just the chasi so we could just put this engine into it. Would be a lot cheaper than replacing the whole sled. Just my thoughts.

Hey I think your onto something here! Disposable chassis! Yes it would be VERY nice if only NOW they could make the chassis and suspension and some other components last as long as the engine ..Maybe if Honda gets into the game it could happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
