I change oil and filter if required( I do mine every 2 years) stops the acid oil sitting in pan over summer month corroding parts
I regrease my drive axle bearing and jack shaft. If you wait to the fall to do this (especiallydrive axle bearing) the watter corodes and rusts bearing.
Wash and remove salt, sand etc. Armorall and wax as required
Raise rear skid off ground and I also take some weight off front as well( i have Fox Floats) put a cover on. Part way through summer I will trickle charge battery and fire up for 10 min and get it good and warm

The above are good comments. Wash everything out real good - tunnel, skid, exhaust etc.
Doesnt hurt to pull the air box apart and clean the air filter every spring. Usually there is some residual oil from the engine in the box that should be wiped out. The filter, soak it in gas and wring it out good.
Take the belt off and wash it in hot soapy water.
If I am not yanking the skid out, I spray the a-arms and skid with an oil to prevent corrosion forming on the welds.
Also doesnt hurt to crack the back axle in the skid and allow the track to relax over the summer.
Pump every fitting with grease till good clean grease comes through.

Don't forget to put fuel stabilizer in....I've been using Fuel Med RX sold at Yamaha dealers with good luck...and I fill the tank to the top. Also, Seafoam is good stuff, as well as Startron.

I remove the skis by taking off those long bolts. Need new cotter keys sometimes. Let the skis dry for a day or so. I clean the old grease from that rubber thing and the bolt and also the sleeve in where the long bolt goes. Then regressed it all and assemble. I use synthetic grease, not that that matters.

Change oil every year, not every 2.

I got an 08' Vector and do nothing...................oil has been changed a total of 3 times, carbs cleaned 1 time, still have stock plug in, I grease the skid in Oct-Nov yearly, never did anything to the stock battery - but had some problems with the battery " got new " this season so I will trickle that every couple month this year, I run the good gas in it during the season non-ethanol, I have an easy lift so skid is off the ground, and I will start it every couple of month, again I have a vector tho.
Only problems I've had are normal, speed o bearing went, donuts had to be changed, exhaust got a crack and got replaced, bearing in boogie wheels, sled has 6500 miles.
