What instances would you normally use low-range? Ive been around older Polaris ATVs for many years (all of them were 2-strokes) and the only instance we used low-range was plowing snow and pulling a lawn-mower.
It wasnt so much that they wouldnt do these things in high-range, but my father always used to say that letting the engine spin up at a higher rpm is better for it.
Explain please....

We mostly use our quads for work in the bush and mostly use low range.
Its alot of hard going riding over stumps and rocks where you dont need the high end and like to have the revs up.Or if you are in some real nasty mud where it might bog down a big in high or you just want to crawl along.

LOW range is for pulling other brands. They all seem to get stuck deeper in than Yamies...
