There hasn't been much talk about studs once the season started. I'm curious how those running a thin stud like Triggers are holding up. Also curious what others brands and lengths people went with and the results. I'm getting a sidewinder next year and am still undecided on studs.

144 Top dogs size 1.325 up the middle (and per camoplast recommended areas to avoid.) This is on an LTX-LE.

144 Warthog Big Shot 1.40" up the middle very similar pattern as dgjr less the outside studs. I just stayed out of the center 2" so they wouldn't hit the middle tunnel protector. No hits on the louvers up front.

I like the pattern Dgjr. Did you make it up or use a template? I had good luck on my Apex going to 1.45 studs but I didn't stud the outside. I plan to stud the outside on the Sidewinder so not sure if I'll go 1.45 or if I'll do the 1.325.

Go 1.450. Plenty of clearance imo.

If redoing myself, I would consider the 1.45 too. Especially since not many reported problems. Lots of power to try to hook up in the Sidewinder. My main reason for studs, however, was safety. So, consider purpose before choosing.

Snowdust, just start in the center with as much center clearance as you want and work outwards by 3/16 inch on each bar until you run out of room.
I started with the stud tip 1 inch on either side of center. 1st bar two double backers. ( i actually did all the doubles first to get a rythem) skip a bar move the backers out 3/16 inch on each side. With 2" of center clearance i went 4 rows of double backers before i had to repeat. Instead of repeating entirely i moved my start point out 1/16 from center each side.
then i filled in with the singles. I started them next to the window and moved closer to the center . essentially forming an X pattern but it's hardly noticeable.
Overall the pattern only truly repeats twice.
I thought i saved time by putting everything on finger tight then coming back with an impact wrench to snug them up and then torquing them, but i'm sure everybody has their own way of doing things.

I have 192 1.450 triggers stayed out of the center 3.5" has anyone else went with this size and studded the center with no problems of hitting the fins? I am thinking of adding some in the center cause I still can't get traction

Where did you find the camoplast recommendation?

Where did you find the camp last recommendation?
Because I saw the bulletin they sent out to Cat, which went to the dealers when the whole studding issue came about. My dealer worked with me to make a pattern and mark the track right when I picked up the sled.
