I may just look at getting another clean tank from BOP or ebay or something. Might not be worth the hassle. Has it ever leaked? If not it probably will at some point anyway. Nice to know on oil pump, learn something new everyday!

Bearing on the gear reduction/counter balance shaft went out.

I am guessing that when the donor sled went nose first into the pole the abrupt stop hurt the gear reduction??
The donor sled hit dead on the front bumper and broke both bulkheads clean off. The steering linkage was the only thing hold the frond clip to the rest of the sled.

I bent my clutch shaft in my accident. Clutch took a A-arm to the spider and stopped it spinning instantly.

Maybe that housing got tweaked thus your oil leak issue?

Pics of the donor sled. The entire font end was being held by the tie rod ends. Once those were removed the bumper thru to the A arms came off in one piece.

I sold that engine, this one is my original 06 engine that I parked when it puked out oil everywhere after a oil change and I got lazy and found the impulse turbo 07 on craigslist the next day. Hindsight I should have swapped the gear reduction from my engine to the other one and not sold it. Oh well!

What did he hit? Strange you can't see any damage on skis, bumper, or nose of sled
