Fusion I think the prices in Canada are different!

There are alot of people asking 7000 for 2008 apexes, however I paid 8000, and after riding it for 3 whole seasons, feel that I have more than got my money out of it at 6500..

I do love riding this machine, but it'll be worth that much less with 8000 miles on it next year.

I know that is nothing for these Yamaha's, but it seems that in my area Yamaha doesn't have as good of a presence or penetration into the market, as a result a lot of people think 5000 miles is high.

Yeah, I didn't see the Manitoba location, sorry. There's a big diff in suspension and rider position between Apex and Nytro.
I'd spend some time on one before making that leap. I've considered it myself a few times, but when it boiled right down to it, the dealer advised against it for me.
He went over my riding style ect. I might be a bit older than you too. I don't ditch bang and ride aggressively all that much anymore, although I do have my moments.

Could you describe the difference in suspension???

I ride dirt bikes for fun too, and have really come to enjoy the aggressive riding. (without killing myself of course)

Although I can't describe the ride difference for you, not having been on one, I can tell you what others have told me. Very stiff suspension to absorb stutters and chop better for aggressively attacking moguls and off trail dips and heavy terrain.

And one thing everyone told me - you need to get the high windshield or you will freeze your azz off, since you are so exposed. This is a very cold sled to ride from what I've been told.
If you're 24 and you ride standing up most of the days, fueled by mountain dew and red bull, this is the sled for you.

Haha... thanks

I'm 26. :yam:

The new apex is way easier to handle offtrail.i tried a nytro xtx offtrail, and i think my apex xtx is easier to handle.I am 65 kg and 180 cm :-)

ApexLTXGT11......if you are 26, I'd say the Nytro XTX has your name on it! I'd go for it. This is the market demographic they target with this sled.
If I were your age, I'd be driving one - OR, one of the ski-doo products, 1200 4-Tek, or 600 E-Tek.

Let us know what you think and compare your new ride. I love my 2010 Apex LTX GT but also am on the fence about the Nitro XTX back country. I am keeping my 10 atleast 1 more year. :-o

My apex is sold and the nytro is in the garage. Very excited to get out and ride.

Congrats, be sure to let us know how you like it once you get it all set up for your riding style ;)!

2011 Apex Demos are going for 9,000 and as low as 8,000 in Canada with a years warrentee. I think he got a fair deal on the trade.
