There is a loose hose with a clamp on itm, and I don't know where it goes. I thought it went to the bottom of the air box, but it doesn't reach. It's a 1/4 " line. it must go to the air box, but I couldn't find a route that will work. It comes out from under the engine on the left bottom of the oil tank. There is a plastic guide it goes to near the oil tank.

That hose is kind of a beeotch to get seated.

The photos below show said hose and the hose barb on the bottom of the airbox. Just fiddle around with it for a while. You'll get it to reach.

It does clamp on to the air box bottom on the left side near the back bottom. Is the hose possibly hung up on the battery tray or catching somewhere? Maybe it got looped around something so it now won't stretch far enough? Or maybe got re-routed along a longer path? If you don't get that plugged in (I think it's a breather tube of some sorts) your sled will throw a code at you when you try to start it.

X2 put that one on first then the other two.

If this is an RX1 or Apex then it is just a drain tube and does nothing if it is not plugged in.

If the sled is a vecter then the tube must be plugged in before running. DO NOT RUN THIS SLED WITHOUT THE CRANK CASE BREATHER.
A vector will fill the air box with oil if not plugged in.

problem solved

My mechanic partner (my wife) solved the problem, and showed me the routing that worked.
