where is the snow? again...

We've got plenty of snow for riding. We still need more for good off-trail riding, and some of our trails count on snow to fill in creek crossings and such, but there's certainly no problem going out and putting on a few hundreds kms.

its all about how much you love to do it.... if its gettn old then sell ur sleds and buy a saucer and slide down a hill.. we can only do with what Bitchy Nature..... i meant mother......will give us. I also have 2 kids with one on the way all will be under the age of 4 when new baby is born. and riding for me is down to really only one trip per year for a week. Sacrifice so i can spend time with my kids. The snow has been pretty lame the last few years but, heres to hoping this year and future years turn around.... :drink:

Yeah the weather sucks balls lately so it comes down to trailer to find snow or wait for it to ride or not ride all at all. Pretty brutal it comes down to that but that is how it is. I had to trailer all last year and I would do it this year if there was snow to travel too but don't have kids or a wife so it's pretty easy for me to drop everything and load the trailer ;)!

I did pick up snowboarding this year.......It's fun but nowhere near as fun as riding sleds! Even with crappy weather its tough to have good conditions for them, as the hills get really icy. And it's not fun to take diggers on a sheet of ice!

Weather sucks..yes....have a very understanding wife and kids.....yes.....but going to enjoy what i can while i can. who knows what is to come with these warmer weather patterns that seem to be here to stay!

Trailer, trailer, trailer.

We did a quick afternoon trip to Tillsonburg to warm sleds up, and then last week 3 days trip Stirling, Pembroke and Smith falls. Now we have over 1000km on this season

Meeting Tuesday for planning our 10 day February trip from Riveire Du Loop down through New Brunswick and back.

We are already thinking, in 2 weeks of heading for Timmons or Cochrane. :-o L[/

The first snow fall I put on 700 km around the Tillsonburg area! Can't wait to head north, hopefully the trails start to shape up soon.

going to canada to ride isnt cost effective. Now we have to have passports to go, plus the 150 trail sticker

I agree it isn't cheap to do a sledding trip, but just so the facts are straight; 7 day pass is $60.

If it makes you guys feel any better. Today i went with 3 doos and 2 polaris and myself. they all got stuck along a drift and i hit the same drift, my sled made it up but i didnt. we have great snow for cat walking all over the place. its great here
