hey guys, I get the email (which is rare) saying there is a reply, yet I click it and the topic doesn't exist, BUT it's still there somewhere else!!

Hello,

You are receiving this email because you are watching the topic, "Look at this!!!!" at TY 4 Stroke - Totallyamaha. This topic has received a reply since your last visit. You can use the following link to view the replies made, no more notifications will be sent until you visit the topic.

http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?p=409305#409305

Then I click it and get.....

The topic or post you requested does not exist

I then went into my deleted box and found another thread reply for the same thread that had another URL that still works.
http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?p=409087#409087

ok, I'm confused....

One of two possibilities it either was moved from one forum to another or someone deleted a post within the thread! I don't even see any post from your username in that thread??

I subscribe....I don't post, sometimes it's just better to stay quiet!

no, it was and always been in the turbo forum.

I think I figured it out notice the link shows "p=" that indicates a specific post not a thread a thread looks like this " http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=47302 " note the "t=" my guess is someone added a new post which got you the message saying the thread had been updated, but before you got to it they deleted it. The link you had in your deleted bucket was also a post but that one still exists.

Steve

Thanks eh!! Makes sense now!!
