I'm looking at 2 options and need some advice from teh TY guru's...
Both sleds are brand new at different dealers.
I'm trading mine in, and they're both giving me the same price on trade.
The '12 xtx is $8000 "all in", and the '11 xtx is $6500 "all in".
The way I'm looking at it is in 3 yrs when I trade again, the '11 may be worth more because it'll "seem" to have low miles.
Is there any major differences in the 2 sleds?
Does the '11 have the rear hx??

No major differences. [Like next to none]
Yes the 11 has the rear exchanger.
Go with the dealer you like the best and with the best reputation.

One dealer is 3hrs away, and the other is only 20mins away, and he's also the dealer who's been doing my work and supplying parts for the past 4 years.
I'm thinking of using him, but also looking for other opinions. Buying local used to mean something, but not too sure it does anymore?
Thanks Riceburner!

Trade in Value and what I can sell it for privately are 2 different things.
If you factor in taxes, I'd have to get over $6500 for mine privately, and then pay the HST tax on the new one.
Works out very close. And I don't have to entertain tire kickers and low ballers.
So...if you want to give me more than $7g's for my sled, lemme know.

Something isn't right. I paid $9,600 OTD three weeks ago for my new 2012 standard with no trade. The XTX should only be a few hundred dollars more

The cheapest I've found any 12 xtx's around here is $12,200.
You can get Vector's for around $9800 - $10000.
Great country, Canada is eh!!

Again...US prices are alot different than Canadian prices.
I've bought in the US twice before, but not new.
Warranty is not transferable, so I'm on the hook for Canadian prices.

The ski's were updated on the '12's, also, on the skids, they changed the location where the front bogies are located. If you look at a parts fiche you may be able to see the difference in locations.

The skis are the same but the position of the mounting hole was moved on the 2012's to reduce pushing and ski lift .
