I bought stainless rivets for the 10 rivets needed to reattach the bracket that holds the Y pipes up under the tunnel but I started reading up on corrosion that can be caused by two different metals being connected.
Should I buy some aluminum Multi-grip rivets instead?
or am i over thinking this and the stainless rivets are fine because it is a low stress area?

your right in thinking this but the stainless steel rivets and aluminum will take forever to rust/ oxidize.
instead of using stainless rivets get yourself some stainless steal button head bolts and nylon lock nuts. the next time you have to take it apart will be easier.

Just rivet them on, no biggy, just don't use aluminum rivets as they won't hold.
This bracket being loose is a major contributing factor to worn donuts and broken y-pipes/flex joints.

I reinstalled that bracket with 6 SS bolts with nylock nuts.
