We can usually ride till the second week of may although lastyear the snow was gone late april :o| but we have alot more snow this year. NFLD-Nytro i have the a arm mounted scratchers they are not the best but i also have the slide mounted ones that i use when its really crusty those work very well but i have broke quite a few in reverse no trouble to forget about them lol but as you can see in this pic from lastweek we have no use for them yet

Nice. I think we have more snow than you do this year, but I'm sure yours will last longer.

I just picked up a set of rail mounted scratchers today, but they're for a Cat, and I'm not sure I'll be able to mount them on the Nytro. Doesn't seem to be anywhere they can go on the rail where there won't be a wheel in the way when I want to tuck them in.

15-20 cm coming on Friday!!! All our pow turned to cement last weekend. It should last a while for sure. The 20cm on top will be like icing on a cake!

That will be SWEET if we actually get it.

we never had much snow till mid feb then it snowed almost 2 weeks stright! no snow in our forcast for the next week now its time to do some riding.

yes that cheap gas lol $1.497 here now for 87oct :o|

Rode 250 miles (975 mi so far this season) last Saturday and Sunday in Oscoda, trails were some of the best all season. The two tracks had 2 feet of snow, around 8 inches of smooth and hard pack on the trails. Could have rode more if I did not have to tow my buddies Polairs for several miles to a main road and go get my truck to haul him back to the cabin. Got to love Yamaha!

Took me 1/2 hour to dig myself out of this one. I should have taken a before pic, lol.

Seems like the Western UP keeps getting screwed on march riding!
Three years in a row now. First week of March and everything falls apart.
I have gotten two weekends out of March so far but the riding starts to get confined to smaller and smaller areas and the need for snow barely gets helped by minimal accumulations.
Two weeks ago, we did some great riding but the typical 150 mile radius was reeled in to like 50. Even then it was take the bad along with the good.
I'm a big believer that " a bad day of riding beats a good day of work."
I just hate to see it end, especially on the early side. :letsnow:

I just took my shovel off the sled last weekend, there's a good enough base now that it would take a real effort to actually get stuck. Amazing how much powder there is for March though, isn't it?
