Who's done the battery relocation??

I got a question about the battery relocation mod. Who's done theirs as instructed on this site with the small, dry cell battery moved up inside the bulkhead? If you have, has it been a reliable mod? I wonder about using a dry cell battery that wasn't designed to be "quick charged" by an automotive type electrical system. Any regrets or bad experiences? Any fried charging systems, or burnt batteries? This looks like a great mod for little $$ that saves tons of weight off the front end. Sure seems like a good idea, but I don't see any manufacturers running this style battery. Gotta be a reason.

I put a ytz7s above the right foot rest battery about $60 saves 10lbs and works great had no problems all year.
