I was wondering if anybody tried to mount up a stock Vector or Apex windshield to the Venture GT? I like the large windshield however find that I prefer the look of the medium shield. Just looking for a little more sport feel.

If you want a sporty feel you've got the wrong sled! Best windshield in the industry is on the Venture GT! Just my opinion and I could be wrong.

Maybe I should've said that I was looking for the sport touring look. I do not argue that it is an excellent windshield however I have ridden a vector recently and found the regular windshield plenty warm for our mild winters here in Northern Maine.
If nobody know the answer it's okay, I'll just ask my dealer.

Didn't mean to be a smart #*$&@. I don't think there is an option that will work easily. MY 2012 venture GT windshield is a little too tall for me but the protection on cold rides is great!

Yeah, I agree with the cold weather reasons! I was just wondering if there were other options. A lot of Vector and Apex owners change their windshield to the low and I could possibly score a standard for a cheap price.
Sorry to react to your post. Hard day at work. LOL!!! Looking forward to tomorrow. We have a 2 foot base and are expecting 60 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. This weekend will be a big money weekend. LOL!!!

i dont see why a lower windshield from an 06-10 apex or 08-? vector wouldnt fit

There is a shorter Venture windshield, but it's not as sporty as the Vector one. I haven't tried it but I think the metal supports for the Venture windshield might get in the way of any other type. Also, because of the height of the backrest, a smaller windshield might look odd. If you do get it to work, I'd like to see a picture of it to see how it looks.
