I was looking through my manual and there is a dedicated fuse for a heated shield, Does anyone know where these wires are and what yamaha accessory I need to plug into them? I dont want to use my DC plug for a heated shield. How do I wire this thing. Thanks

I hard wired mine to the backside of the accessory plug.

Hooked mine directly to the battery with an inline fuse.

I picked up a wiring kit this weekend at Woody's and one of the techs told me behind the left/clutch side cover is a capped off pair of wires that go nowhere. That is the harness for the optional 12v DC receptacle.
Also mentioned it was a fused line.
