A friend came by today with his 07 phaser .He told me it had a new set of rings and pistons .So I first check the timing and it was off ,so I put it on timing ,Second I did a comp test and # 1 cly was 75 psi and cly #2 was 100 psi even if # one cly was down she should still start .It had a clear spark not even blue .I turn it over a few times but still no go

check the valve timing, maybe one cam is too far retarded , what is the base timing for the 500?

compression should be more like 200 psi. I suspect the cam timing is messed up. If the valves are not seated @ TDC you will not have compression and will not run.
