Yes, thats for 2 belts but New Yorks taxes are what I was bitching about in earlier post! You did get two belts for that price correct? Did you also get something else with purchase? Just wondering why if you bought just the belts along, the price was more than the others who bought same items?

Hey Vic!I bought two myself and that's exactly what I paid best deal anywhere
Look very closely at the new XS belts for any imperfections....
Also do me a favor and order a shaft saver from Travis, it does have loctite on it but I like the extra insurance of this device from BOP.
Also I would recommend a top gear and to be really safe a new chain.
Let me know if you need help with anything brother.

I ran this belt last year, Hurricane 270. About 2000 miles and still looks good.
What was your setup for clutching with this tune and are you studded

No Studs, Backcountry 1.75. Clutching from Ron Ward. His own Helix Design. All Dalton stuff Black/Orange in Secondary. I forget specifically weight and Spring in Primary. I have it written down. Also running float on Secondary and Turbo Dynamics rollers in Secondary.

Well guys, received belts yesterday and all is good. Numbers are 45-19. This means 45th week 2019 from what everybody has posted, right?

Your welcome SideHogger,
Be prepared to back off on weight, crank up the tune, and back off on the secondary tension and/or add helix. The XS belt sticks/grips way more than the Yamaha belts. you will need a more aggressive secondary to prevent "stickage" and releasing the belt from the driven, and when you make the driven more aggressive you'll need to back way off on drive clutch weight. It takes a different clutch package to make it work well vs. the Yamaha belts we have been using. I'm quite impressed with it for the 50 miles I put on mine yesterday, but I was prepared for the loss of RPM from the reports provided by others earlier.

Switching to the 8dn and back to the XS was 2 grams different in the center for my STM weights. I will say the 8dn was more responsive even with more weight.

Pete,
I can't really say. I went to a complete whole different set of clutches front and back with the old style clutches. Most are saying somewhere from 300-600 RPM depending on their setups. How many people are running them for over 100 miles or so before the RPM come up too? New belts always RPM low before they wear in and take a few miles to settle in to a consistent RPM.
I'm running DTYA-1 on the old RX-1 primary clutch with the XS825 for now yes.
