Picked up a nice XTX last month for good price and wondering about upgrades to add this Summer. Top of list include 4th wheel, rear cooler, and extra fuel carrier. Any other good add ons u guys might recommend? Skis have King Cobra runners on already...It is studded down middle too. How about snow wheels on rails or do new hyfax solve the prob? Thanks for input, can't wait til snow!

must haves for nytros imo are:
OFT rollover valve with tether
OFT relocator
some form of opened up running boards, better boards, airframes, ect...
Once you get those it all depends where you want to go with your sled. do you want to dress it up a bit? different bumpers, decals, wraps, colored accessories....
If you decide to go towards the performance side of things, you can either put boost (i like MCX) on it or go with an N/A build.

Split Rail Skis! I have them on my standard Nytro and by far the best mod I have done to it. My son wouldnt even drive my Nytro before I put the skis on it,would only drive my Apex. After I put the skis on he loves the sled. So much that I bought one for him. I will also be buying a set hfor his. Pricey but worth every penny. Shane

Good advice thus far, I've already purchased Yamaheaters too. Saw that the HW are also an issue- big surprise... Will do the oft stuff but really want to know if the extra wheel kit can solve hyfax issues. Are these the big concerns that need doin?
May add clutch stuff too...

Shimming the skis does work I have an old junk track laying around, so I made a couple of shims out of the old track.

Don't know about shimming with anything but hyfax type material I've gotten from Bergstrom, along with triple pts. Or a set of doollies...I don't know if a tipover kit is needed for my kind of riding... Fashioning some racks for a couple extra gas cans up back this Summer too!
