sounds like curve is the only way to go.

I like the looks of the slydogs (because of the color options) but for the best all around ski i think the curves is the way to go, from everyones reports

Does anyone know how wide the curve skis are? Seems like they may be the ticket for a trail ski, but not so much as an off-trail ski?
talking with Nick this week I think I remember him telling me they are 7.5 wide just like most of the other skis out there. Nick is this correct?

They are wider than the STD ski.

Our skis are 7.25" wide up front, 7" out back and the ski necks down in the center to form our compression profile.
Curve XS skis are an exceptional off-trail ski as well. With the skis variable surface area, the front of the ski has greater flotation than the center. This causes the center of the ski to sit below the snow surface and the tip of the ski to sit above the surface. If the tips are up and you are moving forward, to the top you go!
We are offering "Show Pricing" for one week at the end of the month.

Theses are definitely wider than Yammi stockers which come in at around 5.5 inches wide.

I'm not a fan of any of the ski-doo ski's but perhaps they work a little better on the Nytro. On the Doo's they can work well sometimes, but dart like crazy other times. I would say they're better than the stock Yami setup. Dual runners and shims make a huge difference on the yamis.
I've heard good things about the Curve skis and the customer service seems very good but they seem a little pricey. I'm not saying it's not worth the cost but the Slydogs were alot cheaper so I'm giving them a shot this year.

I had slydogs on my 08 nytro. Not overly impressed! Not worth the $$$ over stock. Sorry; just being honest.
