xtx what ski's

I rode with c&a outlaws last year. Very aggressive ski which meant very heavy steering. Yes they did as advertised, but they wore me out by the end of the day. Keep in mind the middle keel on the outlaws is twice as long as the razors.

This year I'm gonna try me some curves.

Love my Curves, "Control" is the key word here - Lots on here about them if you do a search.

About a 1,000km on a Phazer. They have better flotation than stock ski, very positive and precise steering, stopped my Phazer from pushing in every corner and made it a lot more groovy and confidence inspiring in the trails. The only complaint I had was increased steering effort and little to much bite but they changed the carbide design to remedy (flat bar in the center and carbide outboard) and I have the new one installed and will know how well it works when the snow hits.

Added bonus is they look very trick...

oh, and customer service is top shelf !

turk, try cat offset duallys on the yamaha skis. they work great.

Arrow skis by far for trail riding. similar foot print as stock ski, track straight as an Arrow, like a simmons, turns as easy as stock at slow speeds, unlike simmons.

single carbide skis will dart around in crust and refrozen trail. just a fact doesnt matter what you make the bottom of the ski look like, if it runs 1 carbide it no better than any other ski with equal carbide when the trail is hard. Two carbides on the other hand will track much better than 1.

keep in mind safety when buying skis as well, some skis run exposed carbides and can catch on trailers, rail beds, bridge crossing and destroy front end parts or send you over the bars.

do a search, there are many people who have tried alot of skis. if you just looking for a cheap fix for your stock skis, there is steering plate that can be added under your carbides that will make a huge difference or you can do the cat carbide upgrade, works very well.
