Just picked up my new FX Nytro mtx and never have dealt with yamaha clutches before. Any special tools needed other than a puller? Was told that they use an adjustable weight? Been dealing with A/C clutches for the past 17 years. Any tricks or tips??

The number on the secondary is the degree of twist for the secondary spring, you have 4 number on the helix ( 0,3,6,9 ) and (1,2,3 ) on the sheave or other side of the spring.EX: you put the spring on hole 6 and 2 on the other side, that is 6+2=8... 80 degree 3+3=6...60 degree.make sure to mark sheave before disasembling ( balanced secondary ) or you will have a vibration.Same thing for primary, there is and X under the cover and on the spyder, must be together or you will have a vibration. No special tools require if you play whit weight, spring or helix. The only thing that is tricky is the secondary spring when i play whit the twist, but you wife or a good budy will do the trick.
