I have a 2011 Yamaha Nytro XTX, I have the standard 1200nmm torsion springs. I am a bigger guy and being a bigger guy has lead me to wanting stiffer torsion springs. Does anyone know if the torsion springs from a nytro RTX will fit in an XTX? The RTX offers 2100nmm torsion springs, and the XTX only offers up to 1500nmm. I already ordered Hygears torsion spring spacer. But really looking to get more stiff torsion springs as well. HELPPP!

I don't think they fit. I bought 1900nm springs from ulmer, 2100nm also available. They are apex springs, just need to be shortened.

Agree, use a set of apex springs shortened to the leg lengths of your nytro. Either Alan at Ulmer or Travis at Barn of Parts can hook you right up.

I just put the apex 2100's on my nytro and the seem way stiffer then the stock one. Until we get some snow I cant really tell how they will work.

The Hygear spring spacers alone are going to stiffen the suspension. Had them on a 2009 nytro xtx and were to much.

I ran 2100 for a season it was sometimes rough ride. Last two season running stock going back to 2100 springs.

I'm looking at installing the spacers because of the low end of the Nytro, was it hard to install? Can you do it all right under the sled without taking the skid right out from under the tunnel? The Hygear spring spacers alone are going to stiffen the suspension. Had them on a 2009 nytro xtx and were to much.

You just need to drop the back swing arm down. I believe you have a collar held on with set screws and unhook the springs.

Hi Ethan, I'm a bigger guy as well and I'm not sure if I should buy the Hygear Torsion Spacers first and see if that raises the ride height of my xtx or just get heavier duty Torsion Springs?I have a 2011 Yamaha Nytro XTX, I have the standard 1200nmm torsion springs. HELPPP!
What would you suggest?
Thank you for your help!

go to the stock 2011-15 apex xtx springs. the hygear spacers help it move smoothly. for me they where too heavy and i ended up with a set of stock 09 nitro xtx springs to get it to ride right. i have a set from a 12 xtx right now willing to trade you for your nitro ones if you want nytophazer
