Hi Guys,
I have a base model 07 Phazer and I'm worried that the linkage or other 1st model year defects are going to rear their heads as soon as my 1 year warranty expires. Will the YES 4yr warranty cover these types of failures? Also, my dealer told me that the warranty could be cashed in at a pro-rated rate. Basically, the dealer said if I buy the 4yr extended warranty and sold my sled and the buyer wanted a cheaper price, that I could cash in my warranty and get back a pro-rated amount... so that would be 1/2 back if I sold the sled after 2 years of the extended warranty and didn't transfer the warranty to the new owner. Anyone heard of anything like this? Please excuse my bad grammer and the post being kind of confusing but I didn't know how to word/explain it any better!
Thanks,
Tom

It does cover the Linkage but you would have to fight for rails if they break. Its a good deal.I would get it if I werent looking at doing motor mods this year.

I would say it is worth the extra jing. One trip to the dealermechanic will most likely cost as much as the warrenty. It has been my experiance that your warrenty is only as good as your dealer.

Anybody here anything about being able to cash in any unused portion of your warranty? My dealer told me that I could, but I'm sceptical!

i've herd of similar offers from third party warranty retailers but nothing like this direct from the manufacturer
Yes, I have heard it from the manufacturer. But, the only was you are going to be satisfied is to hear it yourself, so go ahead make the call and check it out!
