As I mentioned they are pretty good in soft snow. I certainly wouldn't mind less push in the soft stuff. I still feel they are a gigantic improvement over stock. I forgot to mention, absolutely zero darting in any condition. What have you used that is great in most/all conditions?
I have Tuner Ski 3's on my 2016 Viper. The stock 2/0 carbide/wearbars were horrible. I just installed Bergstrom triple point carbides , and their hard wear bars and ski savers and the sled is really great. I have tried it so far in mushy loose snow and there is some push but really pretty...
Man, you might want to at least try some upgraded carbides before you jump to new skis, the 2" stock inner carbides are worthless. It makes no sense that they come that way from the factory ad they should have been 6" at least especially if you are studded
I have some Carbides from my old 09 Nytro and I am wondering if I can fit them onto my new Tuner skis on my 16 Viper? They are at another location so I can't check. Thanks
I would appreciate reccomendations for gauntlets that people have installed on their Viper that allow unencumbered access to controls and that stay secure. Not interested in dumbo ears on plastic hand guards. Thanks
I am ordering my new 2016 Viper LTX LE and I want as much wind protection as possible.
I DO NOT want to look through the windshield. I want to look over it. Anybody know if that should be the case with the tall Yamaha Windshield?
I was chatting with one of the most knowledgeable yamaha guys running the Demo rides and he recommended coil overs over the Float air shocks. I just hope the Viper LTX - LE 3 clicker Fox 1.5 Zero QS3 Front shocks are a good match , and Fox 2.0 Zero QS3 rear shock (based on info from CAT's ZR...
I was able to test ride a Viper LTX SE and DX this past weekend and the conditions were ungroomed and loose at the Demo day in NH.
I had just ridden several Skidoos, a short and long track, and then I rode the Vipers. I was surprized at how the sled seemed like it couldn't seem to hook up...
Glad to hear your happy experience MX3. I plan on spring ordering one of these. I am nervous about trading in my beloved Nytro XTX that has taken me a few years to dial in with tuner skis, etc, but I think it will be the right decision. I am hoping that on the soft setting the LE shocks are...
