Yamaha nytro
Bought a nytro with mcx 270 kit last week.
The first 10 minutes i had it it threw a rod and piston through the case.
I have a new engine waiting to be put in but im wondering if I need to flush the oil hoses and tank before?
The engine stalled right away.

Defiantly!!! If there is metal debris in the lines, then you are introducing that metal into your new engine.
Use brake clean and a little compressed air. Keep flushing until clean.

i would clean it with diesel fuel. it lubricates and cleans good enough, and is neutral to rubber gaskets
