Exhaust Donuts Question??

Hi..

Just wondering how you know when your exhaust donuts are leaking? I have just over 4000 miles on, and all seems well so far..

Your exhaust will get louder and you'll hear a rattle coming from below the tank area..You can try and plug the exhaust with your hands and a rag and the engine should stall if it doesn't you have leaking donuts..

I changed mine at 4000 miles they were like brand new ..

Just change them on my 2008, 6000 mile, they really make a rattleing sound under the tunnel.

Donut replacement

Replaced mine at 4200miles here is a great step by step set of directions, I got it from someone on here hope it helps.

Replaced mine at 4400 mi. when replacing tensioner and they were just like new.

Replaced all three donuts at 4200 miles on a 2006 Vector. Donuts really did not need replacing (they were in fine shape) but had to disassemble exhaust system due to replacing the cam chain tensioner. Could not sleep at night worrying about original tensioner with orange dot of death.
