GPS question

No reason why not. Depending on model whether or it will take the cold. Just buy a case with a mount. I run a nuvi 500 with maps from vvmapping. Also hard wired to battery.

Yes it will - Automotive GPS's are what my wife and I both use on our sleds and motorcycles. We have two Garmin Nuvi 1450's with the power adapters connected to the sleds. To keep them from getting too cold when we stop we simply take them inside. Instead of a hard mount we used Yamaha tank bags, put a little foam in the map window to keep the GPS inplace. The older nuvi's work nicer as the routes we make on the PC transfer nicely to the GPS and don't typically get re-routed. A MC dedicated Garmin is real nice but much more $$$. The second Nuvi we got from Craigslist was $60.

Good luck!

Steve
