This isn't a Nytro vid...but do talk and show a little on my Nytro, so mods feel free to move it.

I agreed to look over and fix some issues on this 97 Venture 500 for my buddy. It's his first sled and he's lookin forward for snow...although it's 15°C here today....

Thanks good fun review cant wait to see her all cleaned up and rolling on the snow, I am sure your buddy appreciates the help.

Finished my bud's Venture...☆Note to self☆...never offer to fix up/get running a buddies 24 yr old sled that's been sitting in a field the last few yrs....for free....lol

Installed new slides a few days ago...takes me an hr on my Nytro...took 3 on his Venture...altho I installed his with the skid still on. Both slides splintered, popped off rails, bound up...blah blah. And yeah, even w copius WD-40 lubed on rails and slides....and all over my arms, face and shop floor lol. But got em on eventually.

Replaced 4 wheels and bearings, new plygs, total carb clean, fixed broken mirror, replaced hood foam, air box intake, disassembled 4 yr old mouse nest (did not reinstall), changed out carbides...ROYAL PITA, cleaned clutches, installed new slide stopper, new throttle side heated grip, new battery, adjusted track alignment and tension, lubed skid, fixed headlight, cleaned belt guard, lubed front end, adjusted choke and throttle play...and done. 1/2 choke, one pull...fires up and purrs like a kitty.

You are a good friend for sure. I understand though as I have a good friend who needs help with his sled all the time.

Wow great service to a friend. Should be a great sled. Lets hope he is appreciative and reimburses in favors or cash as he should.
Some pics of final sled ready to ride would be appreciated
