Does adjusting the ski stance the 1" wider really make any difference?
It sure was noticable on Phazer! Never tried on the Viper. Never felt the need. Probably if the narrow Mountain sled width would be noticeable. I do run mine with the wide to outside.

I've run my XTX narrow and wide. I found it to be more stable when it was wide. Good for trails, I am at narrow now because I like to go off trail. Easier to get the sled to lay over when is narrow.

I started wide on the LTX, but then to narrow without a whole bunch of difference. I have since gone to 40" front end and ride without sway bar frequently. Not really recommended for trail, but off trail, much better. Try it both ways for a bit and see which you prefer. Easy enough to change back if you don't like it one way. Everyone likes a different feel.
