Anyone know the difference between the stock spindles on an 03 RX-1, part number 8FA1 and what the spindle, part # 8ES1 came off of. The 8ES1 is 1" shorter but otherwise looks identical except is black instead of silver. Will the 8ES1 work as a replacement on the 03 RX-1?
apex/vector style front end takes a shorther spindle.

Yup, Found the part number matches a 2006 Vector front spindle. Now the question is, can I use this spindle on an RX-1?

Yes you can, if you buy both A-arms and King bolt off an Apex to go with the spindle, now you will have the geometry of the Apex up front, you will have to get the Apex shocks as well as they are shorter than on the RX-1 shocks.
you cant use just the spindle.
if you want to change to apex/vector style front end, buying a barkbuster front end is the way to go, lighter, stronger, tighter.
if you need a rx spindle, i have some.
