I had my 2006 venture out ice fishing today. When I got off the ice after about a 4 mile trip I left the sled running when I got back to my truck for about 5 to 10 minutes. I had the orange triangle warning light come on and the sled stalled. Is this normal from leaving it run that long just setting there? Or what issue could I have.

Need yourself a set of tunnel mounted scratchers if you are on ice without any fresh snow. Pretty sure the venture has a cooling fan already which helps a huge amount but as you found out, can still overheat with ice and idling.
