Alright, this new product alliance really opens up a can for the future of Yamaha snowmobile racing. No doubt the cross-country and hillclimb efforts will continue and possibly expand.
Could we see a return to snocross? A major advantage of working with Cat is how fast they can react to the American market, and how easily they could do a limited build 'RTX RR' type sled complete with upgraded shocks, the beefed sno-x skid, a few lightweight goodies, etc.
Would the Viper quad stroke be competitive in the new chassis?
Plus, all the supported racers could run the STOCK classes instead of mod only. Thoughts???
