Why are you guys so interested in who is behind you? If you are running hard there is no way your going to focus on a 3" or 4" GPS Screen!
Putting a custom mirror on mine, riding partner is my 17 year old son.
I had a handlebar mounted on on my apex. Just Velcro on. But I bent it because my sleds leave it's ski from time to time.

Do the telescopic mirrors fold or allow for a Yamaha cover to go on over them?I have the OEM telescopic mirrors, they work excellently IMO.

I purchased the Yamaha mirrors for my sled, but then chose not to install them. I did not want to drill holes and risk the damage that might occur. Instead I found mirrors on E-bay that mount at the end of the handlebar grips. They were under $17.00 and are holding up well. If they do break, they are inexpensive to replace. Here is the item ID to search on E-bay. Hope this helps.

Yes, they can fold inwards.Do the telescopic mirrors fold or allow for a Yamaha cover to go on over them?

Can someone post a picture of the Yamaha OEM mirrors installed? Or any others to help make a decision.
I ride often just with my 13 yr old son and like to keep an eye on him. Thanks!

Still trying to figure out some mirror setup myself. Buddy has a skidog with some interesting flipup mirrors on his handguards. Was trying to visualize a CUSTOM position for them on the Viper.

Thanks for the pics. I bought them and they showed up today. For what I need them for they should work fine and seem pretty sturdy and not the bulky look mirrors I'm used to on the older sleds. I like how they extend out so I can keep an eye on my son when he's following. Are the stainless washers solid enough when installed? Did you get any templates for install or just pick the spot? Any suggestions on mounting location, yours look to be where I would put them. Thanks again for the photos!

I had my dealer put them on for free when it was in for an oil change. It looks to be using the washers, and yes it's pretty sturdy. They are by no means flimsy. Thanks for the pics.
