Just did my ski install and had all my shocks revalved by Pioneer Performance. Now all I need is snow to test out the setup.

I just picked up a set of Pilot 6.9 skis for my XTX. I'm hoping to reduce some steering effort vs. C&A XT skis. Will be trying them out this weekend.

I put on a set a couple of weeks ago. Still didn't get to try them.

I tried a set of Pilots before my C&A Outlaws...you'll appreciate the easier turning, however you will suffer from understeer and most likely go back to your XTXs. Try a set of Kimpex Arrows, you'll be impressed.

Thanks
I have the 6.9 pilots on my XTX. These skis really made the sled easier to steer plus they float great too. I also have the Hygear triple rate springs on. The sled handles awsome, very little push, and very little darting.
I used a rubber stopper from my USI skis. I wanted to try a different stopper. Those Ski Doo stoppers look like will work better than my USI stoppers.

I used the Doo ZX rubbers because they have the slot in the bottom back that fits on the tab in the ski. Then I trimmed the front of the rubber to match the shape of the spindle and left the back of the rubber alone. I felt this forced the back of the ski down because of the extra rubber.... kinda like shimming. Ski's are awesome on hard pack but do push a little in really soft sugary snow.

I rotated the skidoo rubber so that the tall side was in the back and cut a new notch in the bottom off it for the ski tab.

I see you put the yamaha loops on the pilots.... Did they fit right on? I ask cause I can't get the colour I need in Yamaha loops, so I may have to try doo loops
