Even with the small set back with the broken steering gate, things continued to move along very well. My thought was the steering gate change over was going to be a real pain but thanks to Throttle Jockey getting me the new part fast, I dove into the job and it went quite easy. Disconnecting all the wiring, oil lines and anti freeze lines that trapped the gate to the delta box. Then removing the bolts that held the steering column, oil tank and reverse lever in place and pulling 6 bolts up front, 3 on the left side, 4 on the right that held the gate to the delta box frame, we were the able to lift the steering gate assembly off the delta box. The install procedure was pretty much in reverse of the above… very easy.
Since this change over went so well. I decided to install the gas tank back on the machine along with the tank shroud to help prepare for Muffin works bar riser install. I also finally completed the front spindle installation for the left side.

It's coming back together again
I'm glad you found the crack, could have lead to a serious mishap somewhere down the road, not so anymore.
Can't wait to see the sled up and running. Keep up the good work Tom.
