Yah it was but I corrected it to stock setup. Had another crack at it today. Up to half throttle smooth end will build rpm to like 10,500, if you open it up all the way just drops down to like 8700 and engine surges badly. Removed clutch so no load and same thing, it’s not like a rev limiter...
I have an 07 Phazer I’ve acquired. It starts and runs good, it will not rev past 8700-9000rpm. Bottom end pulls strong, just the engine surges, on the stand or testing it’s the same. Fuel pressure okay, it’s not the tors as it’s bypassed. been a lot of hands on this in the past. Sleds been...
I'm looking for options for my wife's 2007 Phazer MTX rear shocks. The front rear is bad but even changing both might be an idea. Any info on what people have done would be appreciated, cross overs from other brands too. Thanx guys.
An easy way to go is mark the inner of both inner drivers by scribing the shaft along the driver. Press off all 4 drivers then push on your extroverts, timing them of course. Now you have a reference line to measure out to each driver. Keep trying shaft into track, I usually crowd the inside a...
I should of known you would have some of these in your fleet. Thought it would be a fun sled for Renee, if not my son will grow into it in a few years. Thanx for the input Randy. Shad
I see that. Not seeing much info other than coming soon. Is that .4 bar that you found so 5.8 psi or so. Well that with using the intercooler should be safe then as well as Im sure that they arent intercooling that kit. Cool thanx.
Found a blown up Phazer MTX last year cheap (guy was running 17psi boost) and dropped a valve. I rebuilt it all. I am still running the complete turbo system but no head shim. My thinking is a no head shim low boost setup, like 5 or 6 psi. I did very little testing last year before the snow...
Yup that's what I'm doing. Wonder where it goes all the time?? Power is solid, clean running, pulls hard, just makes me wonder. Never tried a different type of oil other than Yamalube 0w30 semi in the silver bottle. Just keep adding I guess.
Okay that seem to be my exact case, I have no oil whatsoever leaving my crank case breather, leak down is right on, compression is consistent. Scratching my head here too. I have low comp JE pistons. I might use up to 500ml in a day. I am using the 0w30 Yamalube right now. I got my restrictor...
So on my Nypex I am still having a problem with oil consumption. I upgraded to the GTX2860 turbo last year and love it but still find my sled using oil throughout the day. Im 99 % sure its going through the turbo. I am running the oil line teed off the oil pressure sensor with Powder Lites line...
